Methods and tools for cancer survival analysis

We contribute to the evolving methodology and tools for cancer survival analysis, as detailed on the following web pages:

• Using machine learning techniques, we will examine, for the first time, if there are combinations of particular health problems, illnesses, or symptoms experienced only by patients who are later diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. This project, funded by the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund, will develop a risk score for pancreatic cancer diagnosis.
• We continue to adapt our own methods to cope with more complex datasets and to evaluate and incorporate new theoretical developments.
• We have already developed a range of tools for survival analysis, including life tables and the tools to construct and smooth them, and software for performing survival analysis.
